The Sled
Stopper!

Utilizing modern technology to remedy an old problem, The Sled Stopper ALUMINUM Snow Hook anchors your sled more securely than anything on the market today. Using simple physics built into the design, this snow hook actually digs itself into the snow to provide unparalleled anchoring capability.

The secret is in the angled nose. Most snow hooks have the nose tilted upward. This creates a lever and fulcrum effect working the hooks out of the snow when the dogs repeatedly tug on the line.
The Sled Stopper has the nose pointed down which puts the pulling force over the ends of the hooks.
Due to the unique pull-and-dig-in design of The Sled Stopper the harder you pull the deeper it imbeds itself in the snow. This is contrary to other snow hooks that can be dragged along the surface never digging themselves in.
The Sled Stopper is made of aluminum and lightweight at 2lbs 2 oz. This incredibly strong, one piece construction takes a big bite. The 6 inch diameter hooks are made to grab snow but don't mind being hooked on a tree stump. Another design unique to The Sled Stopper is the tip of each hook. Set into each tip is a hardened steel bit designed to cut into ice or hard-pack for a more secure grip. The Sled Stopper is the choice of weight-conscious sleds making more weight and space available for your other gear.
